Merit-based Degree Scholarships – This award will represent the price difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition. It costs approximately $7,516 during the first year based on 28 credit hours (tuition amounts will vary based on credit hours earned).

To be eligible for NIAS, international freshmen (first-year students) must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher in high school.

To be eligible for NIAS, international new transfer students must transfer to the Core with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 in at least 24 transfer credit hours and meet the NIAS above grade level English proficiency standard. Transfer students with less than 24 transfer hours may be eligible for freshman criteria only.

These letters are automatically applied to the student account. No scholarship application is required for these studies.

The Presidential Scholarship and the Admissions Freshman Scholarship are mutually exclusive; “heaps” are not and cannot be arranged.
